Happy #NationalBurgerDay! To celebrate we have put together the ultimate indulgence, guaranteed to turn any frown upside down. This burger is a simple yet perfect way to impress your friends at the summer BBQ.
FOR THE BURGER:
500g minced beef
1 small onion
2 garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
FOR THE GARNISH:
2 rashes bacon
Maple Bacon Jam
Combine all the burger ingredients and gently form into 4 individual burgers.
Moderately heat oil in a large frying pan
Cook burgers for 3-4 minutes (dependent on taste preferences), flip, and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a plate and allow to rest for 5 minutes
Place burger in brioche bun and add a slice of American cheese followed by a generous dollop of Maple Bacon Jam. Add your final garnishes and enjoy!
